About Peter J Webb
Hi, I’m Peter J Webb - an Australian organisational psychologist and leadership coach. I have accumulated decades of research into how people choose wisely or foolishly.
For over 30 years I have helped individuals, teams and leaders make better decisions, live a more meaningful life, and make a positive difference in the world.
In 1977, I gained an Honours Degree in Economics from the University of Queensland – specialising in organisational psychology – leading to my early career in organisational development for the mining and energy sectors across Queensland and Western Australia. My next career move took me to naturopathic clinical medicine, where I conducted several successful practices for over a decade and led to teaching and education roles in natural medicine colleges and global natural pharmaceutical companies. In 2000, I was recognised as one of the pioneers of functional medicine in Australia.
After completing a Masters Degree in Applied Science (Psychology of Coaching) at the University of Sydney in 2005 I transitioned into executive coaching and human capital consulting roles for boutique and global consulting firms. I served a 3-year term as Director Research & Curriculum for the ICLIF Executive Education Centre, Asia School of Business based in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, and I’m now Director of my own consultancy, Intentional Training Concepts Pty Ltd. I also maintain a practice of integrative psychology at the National Institute of Integrative Medicine.
I’ve always been curious about decision making and what drives wise choices in my life and in the lives of others. Through decades of research into decision-making and leadership psychology, I recognise that while we hold the collected knowledge of humanity in the palm of our hand, there has never been a more urgent need for wisdom.
